I guess this makes me a loser. That's why I'm not telling anyone I have a blog.

I only have this because I really just wanted to post a comment on one of my friend's pages, but in order to do that you have to have a google account. When you get a google account, they ask you to start a blog. What choice did I have? Obviously very little. I suppose I need a place where I can write my thoughts, feelings and other such things. Maybe a place where I can speculate and theorize on things I've been thinking about. Maybe this can be a place where I can form an interesting alter-ego that can be an outlet for things that I can't normally express with my normal voice. Maybe, just maybe. Let us see where this road takes us...

Wow... of all the bad reasons to start a blog I would have to say that you nailed the worst one on the head. I'm not saying I can think of any better reasons to have blog, but you don't have to think of a better way to run a country to know that canada sucks do you? Anyway, I have a suggestion: let's make this blog a debate forum to discuss the advantages of liquid washing detergent vs that of powdered detergent. I believe you might avoid a considerable amount of online humiliation if you do.

Hey Maurine...

So.. I saw you have a blog now, yea!! It's a great way to keep up with stuff that goes on. As you see, I have my own page! :)

Personally I prefer the liquid detergent over the powder in that it skips entirely the step of going from powder to liquid form. In this day and age one doesn't have the time or energy to waste on such a needless task. Plus I choose to avoid the trauma from inhaling the dangerous fumes of the powder detergents. And from what I hear, some pregnant women crave the taste of powder detergents, so I feel it wise to not have easy access to it for the health of me and my unborn child.

I believe it is good for pregnant women to have some outlet for their constant need for destructive addiction. They already can't drink, smoke or take most "cool" drugs. Why should we rob them of detergent inhalation until we have a congressionally mandated FDA study that will rob them of it for us?

Ok,so I am a little late joining this debate.
Greg, you are as wise are ever.
Katie, loved the comment-why should you subject your unborn child to another harmful substance.
Maurine, I am glad you joined the blogging world.
It is a really neat way to keep a journal and you can even turn this into a book.
I think that's a GREAT reason to blog!
By the way for what it's worth, liquid over powder any day!

Well to anyone that wants to whether I know you well or not. If you want to join in on my loser blog discussions, please do. And please offend as many people as possible. It's more fun that way.

Oh yeah, and I use liquid too.

That's not a debate Maurine. Honestly, have you ever seen a debate where someone just simply said "Oh yeah, and I'm for sending all the 'goths' and 'emos' to the circus."
