Money talks

What is the best twenty dollars you have ever spent? Aaaaand on the other hand, what do you waste too much money on?

i spend waaaaaaay too much money on going out to eat. With my kids in all of the activities they are in I just find the drive through or the blinking chlis sign so much more enticing then trying to fit in fixing dinner. I'm not sure about the best $20. It could be buying the ingrediants for my chocolate covered oreo balls. the yummyness of those is priceless.

You make Oreo truffles too??? I LOVE those! Okay, the best twenty dollars I have spent is going to have to be my hand-held vacuum! I finally bought one after wanting one for years, and I don't know what took me so long, but I use it like five times a day. No more hauling out the big vacuum for a cheerios spill! wuhoo! I've still got some more thinking to do on what I waste the most on though!

Best $20. . . cocomotion.

Worst $20. . .this pair of WAY WAY WAY cute strappy high-heeled sandals that I bought after getting a stress fracture. (I've only worn them once, and every time i see them i feel SO GUILTY). but they were just SO CUTE!

Well, I can say that $20 for us is usually eating out, too much!! I have been trying to fix dinner more often though-so that's a good thing.
Best $20..I know there is probably something better than this but-I rarely spend $20 on a pair of shoes. Mostly every pair I have cost about that or less! ;) (Payless is my store, and Kohls clearance!) ;-D

I'm probably going to think about this for days. I'm sure I have a really good answer that's just not coming to mind right away. But this does come to mind - I spent about 20 bucks on a sound machine that plays ocean waves in Quinn's room. Before we got it I could be in Quinn's room with the door shut and hear the dog chewing on a bone in our room, also with the door shut. Now it just drowns out all noise and he can sleep through almost anything. Total lifesaver.
And wasting money?... I haven't done that in a while... Let me think on that one.

Like others I waste money on McDonalds becuase I am lazy or I am in town and my kids will fall asleep before I get them home and I want them to have a good meal before bed time!!

The best $20 will have to be any pedicure I get. I love them will be excepting gifts of $20 so I ca go get somemore.

Brittany, anytime you want to go get a pedicure, just let me know. That is twenty dollars well spent!!! But I had to think about my worst twenty dollars, and well, I really try not to spend money at whim. I usually take a list and stick to it, and I have rules for myself about how often we can eat out and all of that. But I think that some other people who are more thrifty than I may look at my spending and think that I do waste money, but I really do try not too. I'm sure there are some people that would think it is a waste to buy books when I could just get them from the library or whatever. But if I have to answer the question straight up I would say that every now and then I do go to the fast food too much. I limit myself to one time a week because Bryant LOVES the play place, but some weeks we'll go extra. I always mentally beat myself up when we do, but oh well.
